Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) is an endemic green plant in Sri Lanka which has a medium height among other plants. The 80% of the total cultivation in the country is being exported and there is a higher demand for Ceylon cinnamon in the global market due to its unbelievable quality, colour, odor and taste. The best cinnamon which is also known as ‘true cinnamon’, could only be found in Sri Lanka because the favorable geographical conditions to the optimum growth of the plant.
